It is essential that every player read and understand the
rules and regulations of the server before creating an account. You, as
a player are expected to know all of the rules. With that in mind, any
example of a rule being broken by any player, can and will result in
consequences ranging from chat bans to character/account deletion. The GM
Staff will not be responsible for any problems with how the game works
or connection with the server. The server is 100% free, so GMs do not
want any player to set up pretentions about the availability of the
server. Administrators do their best to make it work as well as
possible and be devoid of any errors. The server is worked on
constantly, hence some errors may occur. A player taking advantage of
that will be banned from the server. A player to find any bug is
obligated to inform a GM.
I. GoldenLegion STAFF
1. Do not ask any staff members for items, adena, mobs, or exp. They are not allowed
to give out anything.
2. GM's will NEVER ask you about your account info! If you'll get scammed, hacked, or
whatever, it's your own problem and Staff won't take any action, except punishing
the offender. Lost items WILL NOT be given back.
3. Insulting anyone from GoldenLegion Staff will be punished accordingly.
4. Decisions made by GM staff are final, do not criticize the GM's.
5. Pretending that your one of GoldenLegion Staff members is a bannable offense.
6. Clans/alliances, or players are not allowed to have a GM crest or have anything to
do with GM in their name. Clans/Alliances, or players caught doing so will be
dissolved and the leader/players in question will be banned.
II. SERVER AND PLAYERS
1. Exploiting (using server bugs, and taking advantage from it) is not allowed and will
result in account ban.
2. Botting, hacks, modified clients or any third party programs in any circumstance is
not allowed and will lead to account ban. This includes buffbots in clanhalls/towns
using 3rd party programs ("i cant dualbox" is no excuse).
3. Hacking into any account will lead to being banned immediately, players have to be
responsible for their own account. Gm's will not give back any item if your account
was hacked, so if you want to give your login and password to anyone, you do
it at your own risk.
4. Using racial slurs or sexual harassment is forbidden, if you are caught doing this
you will be chat banned for a period of time.
5. No private shops around the NPCs, doors and gateways. Any shop blocking this
will be removed.
6. Do not attack NPC's, you will be fossilized or sent to jail. You may attack guards.
7. Spawn attacking/killing isn't allowed, this also includes clan wars. You have to
wait 60 seconds to attack a person who just spawned. If you get caught doing
this you will be fossilized or sent to jail. If before the 60 seconds are over any sign
of being loaded is seen (potion/talking/moving/...), you can be attacked even
though you are on the spawn point.
8. You are not allowed to train raid bosses out of their place at any time.
9. Do not bad buff players (grief buffing) It's the most annoying thing ever, which
will lead to ban the character.
10. Healing Bosses is banned char.
11. Summonig pets in town is forbidden. it cause lags and will be punished by
deleteing the summon
12. Selling ingame gods for real money is forbidden. If you get caught, your account
will be suspended.
14. No spam on hero/shout chat. English Language only.
III. EVENT
1. During EVENT (competition) all should show respect both to GM and other players.
2. Only GM may decide what kind of event will be organized, who will take part and
what the prizes will be.
3. During EVENT fights between players are forbidden unless GM say so.
4. During EVENT player may fight only on self buffs or party buffs if it is Team vs. Team
EVENT (This will be checked by GM)
5. All types of cheats will result in jail or ban.
6. Bad language (swearing) and calling names is forbidden.
7. When you lose, accept it with honor.
8. During EVENT do not ask GM for buffs, items, adena, etc.
9. During EVENT follow GM instructions.Clans/Alliances, or players caught doing so
will be dissolved and the leader/players in question will be banned.
Chat:
• Excessive racism is not allowed, and you will be punished at the discretion of the GM.
• Disrespect of any member of staff is not allowed
• Excessive screaming of "LAAAAAGGGGGGGGGG" will result in a chat ban.
• Advertising other servers is not allowed and will result in an instant ban
• Using the fact that someone has donated as a negative insult towards them will result in a delevel, and any further incident will mean a ban, donators keep this server alive, without them you wouldn't be playing here, THEY PAY SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO.
General Play:
• Impersonation of a GM, example being GMAnything, will result in an instant IP ban, in addition, telling somebody that you have talked to a gm, and that they will be banned, when actually you haven't, will also get you banned
• Scamming is allowed, however scamming by way of exploit is not, also if you impersonate a GM and convince someone to hand over an item or their account info, not only is the person who believes you a fucking idiot, you will be banned. A GM WILL NEVER ASK YOU FOR YOUR ACCOUNT INFO, OR TO HAND OVER AN ITEM, ALL ITEMS CAN BE DELETED BY US OUT OF GAME, AND ANYTHING WE WILL EVER NEED TO DO TO YOUR CHAR/ACCOUNT WILL BE DONE OUT OF GAME WITHOUT US EVER HAVING TO KNOW YOUR ACCOUNT INFO. On the impossibly rare occasion that we would need your account info we would change it ourselves, and then change it and tell you the new password, and ask you to change it, keep in mind no GM or Admin knows what your password is, and you should keep it that way, all data is stored encrypted in the database.
Donating:
• If you donate to the server it does not mean that you are exempt from the rules, if you break any rule you will be punished just like any other player
Castle Sieges:
• Dropping mass amounts of items on the ground in a castle siege to deliberately cause lag for the attacking and/or defending players is against the rules, doing so will result in an immediate delevel of all involved players. Repeated offenses will lead to a jail/ban.
These rules are subject to change, so make sure you check them frequently, ignorance of these rules is NOT an excuse for breaking them.
Olympiad:
• If you are caught in Olympiad Stadium due to exploiting you will be jailed without warning.
• If you are caught feeding points in the Olympiad you will be jailed permanently.
• If a character is discovered to be an obvious feeder character, that character will be jailed forever.
Hero Chat:
1. No spamming
2. If you want to talk to other heroes, just PM them
3. No flamming with people/GMs
4. Only English may be spoken in hero chat
